Spring Arrives with Excitement: Ribbon Cutting & New Tenants
The MITRE Corporation celebrated the opening of its new offfices in the Town Center Three Building of the University of Virginia Research Park with a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 23, 2010. MITRE is a not-for-profit organization that provides systems engineering, research and development, and information technology support to the government.
NIITEK has joined the diverse corporate partners located in the University of Virginia Research Park and now occupies the first floor of the 1725 Discovery Drive Building, formerly Biotage. NIITEK is a leading developer of robotic and vehicle-mounted mine detection systems, using advanced ground penetrating radar and metal detection technologies.
The UVA Foundation welcomes Beta-Pro, LLC to the University of Virginia Research Park. Beta-Pro, a biotechnology firm that provides diabetes researchers with custom cellular and consulting services, recently relocated to the Emerging Technology Building from their Gordonsville, VA facility.
